CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED ARTS VIENNA TO THE 1ST EDITIONALE VIENNA
EDITIONALE is an international artists' book fair that focuses on the presentation of editions, artists' books, book objects, multiples and originals. It has been successfully held every two years in Cologne for twenty years and offers around 20 artists the opportunity to present their work to the public. The University Library of the University of Applied Arts Vienna now has a collection of almost 5,000 artists' books. Libraries at art colleges make a significant contribution not only to collecting works of this important genre and preserving them for posterity, but also to supporting their visualisation and dissemination. This small publication collects the universities contributions to the book fair.
