EGO
AT SAALBACHERHOF
During the art symposium KON.KLAVE NR.5 at the luxury resort Saalbacherhof, this EGO-flag got hoisted over the rooftops of one of the most frequented touristic venues in Salzburg and thereby took the place, originally occupied by the austrian flag.
The intervention tackles the topic of, not only, artistic selfrepresentation, egocentrism and/or how far one has the right to claim public space and attention, but also serves as a reminder of how strong we intervene with our ecological and/or social environment just by leisuring luxuriously.
